New Collection Action on Delinquent Accounts

The Board Takes Action on Delinquent Accounts
In effort to improve the community the Board of Directors of Southgate II Homeowners Association is taking actioin against accounts with past due balances. Homeowners will have until March 31, 2012 to rectify any past due assesements. In April of 2012 qualifying delinquent accounts will be sent to a third party collection agency. Further collection action will include a lien being placed on the home and a judicial foreclosure being implemented. 
The Board is willing to work with homeowners to rectify their past due balance and prevent further action from being taken against the account. Don't wait to call!!! Some delinquent accounts are eligible for payment plans. Any payment arrangement with Southgate II HOA will cause the late/collection fees to stop accruing on an account while payments are being may to rectify the account. Some conditions apply. To request a payment plan please contact Michelle Williams with Acclaim Management Group at (817)684-3437 ext. 204. Any request for a payment plan must be recieved no later than January 10, 2012.
If you believe that you could have a past due balance on your account here are some steps you can take to get your account current:
1. Call Acclaim Management Group at (817)-684-3437 ext. 204 and find out your balance.
2. If you can't pay your balance in full, send in a check or money order for a poriton of the money owed to:

Please make checks or money orders out to Southgate II HOA.
3. With your payment include a letter requesting a payment plan. Outline why you got behind on your dues and how much you can afford to pay each month until your account is current.
4. Allow the Board to look over your request. They will contact you with options to pay off your account.
5. Make certain that you pay your 2012 Annual HOA Assessement and all future Assessments on time.
6. If you have trouble paying any future assessment, please contact Acclaim Management Group prior to the due date. The Board may be willing to work with you in order to prevent late/collection fees or other collection action from being taken on your account.
